Heidi Morrison

Heidi is a visual artist& Art Psychotherapist based in Kildare. Her own professional art practice developed since her graduation with a BA (hons) in Fine Art at Plymouth University. Heidi decided to move to Ireland after studying at The National College of Art & Design Dublin as part of her degree.

Heidi is interested in creating paintings that connect and communicate a personal response to the natural world around her. She is compelled to paint in response to nature’s simple yet dynamic forms, lines and colours in landscapes or seascapes through representative or abstracted form. Heidi believes that the process of creating art is intrinsically connected to our emotional response with our external world past and/or present. Heidi has hosted solo and group exhibitions locally and abroad.
